Growing homewares seller — Fulfilment Flow Advisory

Challenge

The store was managing stock across two Shopee stores and one self-hosted site. Order volumes varied significantly week to week, and the team (three people) had different ways of handling the same tasks depending on who was working.

What we did

Sessions covered how stock was being tracked, how orders from different platforms were processed, and how dispatch was coordinated. We produced shared templates for daily stock checks and a unified order handling process that the whole team could follow.

Outcome

Within a month of completing the engagement, order handling errors dropped noticeably. The team reported spending less time on daily coordination. The shared templates became the default way of working rather than individual habits.

Challenge

The store had grown from a side project to a full-time operation with a team of five. Operations had scaled by adding people rather than processes — which meant onboarding was difficult, and quality varied depending on which team member handled an order.

What we did

The programme covered stock management, order processing, dispatch coordination, and basic customer service handling. By session six we had the main processes documented. The remaining sessions focused on coaching the team on implementation and reviewing how the new routines were holding up.

Outcome

The operations playbook became the central reference for the team. Onboarding a new team member the following month took half the time it previously would have. The store owner reported significantly fewer operational issues escalating to them personally.

Small electronics seller — Store Operations Review

Challenge

A sole trader running a small accessories store wanted to understand whether the way they were handling orders and stock was reasonable, or whether there were gaps they hadn't noticed. They weren't sure whether they needed a full advisory or just a quick look.

What we did

A 90-minute review session walking through their current process from stock arrival through to dispatch and any returns. We produced a written summary of what was working, what had potential issues, and two or three changes worth making immediately.

Outcome

The seller made the two immediate changes noted in the summary and felt more confident about their current setup. They decided the Fulfilment Advisory wasn't needed right now, and plan to revisit in about six months when order volumes are higher — which was our suggestion too.
